Evan's 2nd Birthday

Happy Birthday Evan! He had a Pingu cake and party. Highlight of the Day- falling into the deep end of the pool. Mom and Dad came to the running and diving rescue and got him out before he even took a breath. Do not want to do that ever, ever again. Evan is a careful boy around the pool now.

Yay, we have a new bathroom. The old one was AWFUL! The new one is all tiled up to the ceiling. Mike picked some old-ladyish type tile colors (as per) but it looks fine. MUCH better.

Ev has played at just about every playground in SW Florida and NYC. It is really a playground kind of year. We even have playground clothes; long pants for hot slides, not tight and not loose shirts for comfort and safety. Next year it will be something else...

Back to November. Evan had more fun at Boggy Creek this year. He got in the way in the gym a few times and got bonked with balls and scooterboards but no serious injury.

Evan found a Thomas table in the UK shops. He was playing alone until...Mary came around the corner and joined him. He had no clue who this was; just another Thomas fan to him.

Our air conditioner went out of order last nite. Finally got it fixed at 6:30pm tonite---of course it's90 degrees today.

Started work at the Y today- no probs. Not hard, not yet anyway...

This is the telephone booth that I always have a picture taken in front of. The first one is from 1989. It's located outside of the pub in the British Pavilion at Epcot.

Evan still loves trains; he goes nuts if he can't touch them though. Fences are good ideas! We had Alison's 16th birthday party yesterday. Pool party with pizza, about 20 people. She had a great time. She liked her Broadway Cake.

Update

Yikes, haven't updated this blog for 2 months! Here is Al outside of the Universe of Energy- the only ride we went on at Epcot. It was full of loud dinosaurs and Evan had CONNIPTIONS! He screamed through the entire 20 minute ride. It kind of ruined the day. Don't go on this ride with sensitive little kids!
