The view from our balcony at Miami Beach

Also from the Balcony

Evan on the Bridge

There was a water fountain with a bridge in the hotel lobby. Guess who spent a lot of time there...

Waiting for the Bus...

We boarded a bus and after we got on the ramp malfunctioned and wouldn't fold back into the bus. The driver had to kick everybody off and call for another bus... that was quite embarrasing. The people were nice, though. They didn't blame us.

Collins Ave hotels

This is the area we stayed in.

Al

A restaurant?

Completely forgot what this was... we may have eaten here. Or not.

Beach Patrol

Cool, but scary building.

Some hotels on Ocean Drive

Beach Volleyball Players

Looking at the Ocean

They had a fun time at the beach. Al spent hours "surfing" on her new little board. Evan threw rocks into the sea.

Evan again

The poser again

Evan swings

It's a good thing there are playgrounds everywhere. We had one hour of sanity and happiness.

The back cover for my next novel...

...called "What the heck am I doing??"

Doing the LOETE!

Hey, it has to be done. At every opportunity.

Huh? There's school tomorrow??

Alison's last day of summer vacation. Tomorrow she'll be a Senior!

What sunburn?

Me running at South Beach

Didn't go too far, but got a good early morning run the next day.

Nice One

Evan with his stroller

Had to buy another stroller. Evan didn't want to walk too much. Actually, he did, but he wanted to stop every minute and play with fire hydrants.

Big Hotel

Forgot the name of this one...

My Favorite

The Loew's hotel

Loew's again

OK. It's a post.

Bathroom at the Ice Cream Shop

Fanciest Ice Cream Shop bathroom I ever saw. I guess when you charge 5.00 and call it a gelato you can afford to have nice rest rooms.

At the "Thomas Place"

The Barnes and Noble at Coconut Point is Evan's favorite place to go. He spends over an hour with the Thomas trains.
